About the Hampstead Manor Project

Hampstead Manor, the redevelopment of the former King’s College campus on Kidderpore Avenue, is a residential project by Mount Anvil. It will provide 156 new homes and reimagined green spaces open to the public. It will also ensure the safeguarding and restoration of five Grade II listed buildings including Kidderpore Hall.

The Development of Hampstead Manor

Hampstead Manor is a redevelopment project that will result in 156 new homes, 31 of which are affordable, and reimagined green spaces open to both residents and the public. At the heart of the project is the sensitive restoration and conversion of five Grade II listed buildings including Kidderpore Hall. The site’s architectural and historical merit will be safeguarded and complemented by new town houses, pavilions and apartments.

A programme of landscaping and improving biodiversity will contribute further ecological value to the conservation area. Works will include the introduction of new native tree species, a new pond, roosting areas for bats and birds and green roofing to pavilions. The existing summer house will be restored and used as an arts and biodiversity education centre for the local community.

About Mount Anvil

As the team behind previous sensitive restoration projects in the capital, Mount Anvil is thrilled to be working in such a unique, historic location in Hampstead. We have previously completed multi-award winning Grade II listed building redevelopments at The Loxfords in Highbury, and Islington's Barnsbury Place.

We were the winners of three Considerate Constructor Awards in 2015 and a CCS Gold Award in 2016, recognising the highest levels of consideration towards the public, our sites and our staff, and putting our sites in the top 8% nationwide. We have been the Property Week RESI Awards’ Developer of the Year (less than 1,000 units) for the past three years—2015, 2014 & 2013—and are the British Safety Council's Number One company in the UK for Health and Safety. Our environmental commitment also won us a prestigious Globe of Honour award in 2015. Visit our website for more information.
